St Croix Company Seeks Senior Financial AccountantWe are a growing company seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to become an important addition to our Fund Accounting team.The Senior Financial Accountant will have primary responsibility for the accounting, analysis and reporting of various consolidated structures and provide assistance in the support of various other funds, new initiatives and ad hoc requests.Assisting in the accounting and reporting for GCIM’s various investment funds and vehicles, ensuring processes are consistent with specific partnership agreementsMaintain the general ledger working with the operations group for automated entries as well as posting manual entriesPrepare and maintain supporting schedules and provide initiatives to streamline accounting processesAssisting in providing timely, accurate and meaningful fund and general business reporting and analysis.Supporting the preparation of the financial statements, providing information and support for the Firm’s independent auditors and assisting in the analysis and implementation of new accounting pronouncements, as neededAssisting in various other ad hoc projects and requestsSkills RequiredQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education requiredMeaningful relevant experience in similar business is strongly desired, public accounting background in financial services is helpful, high level of motivation; be a self-starter and results oriented; comfortable working in a fluid environmentComfortable with a steep learning curve and seeking assistance from a strong and committed peer groupExcellent analytical skills and strong accounting skills and instinctsMust be meticulous, detail-focused and consistently accurateCapacity and passion for being part of a fast-growing, small-office environment – requiring outstanding interpersonal skills, strong intellect and appropriate self confidenceAbility to learn and excel at day-to-day responsibilities and contribute to driving process improvement, standardization and automationShould you wish to apply for a position, please visit our website at: and complete the GCIM Pre-Application Arbitration Agreement.Additionally, please print and sign a hard copy of the GCIM Pre-Application Arbitration Agreement and send the signed hard copy Agreement to:GC Investment Management LLC
