Consequently, we are eager to hear from intellectually curious, globally-minded barristers / solicitors with a background in handling high-stakes cases involving cross-border elements, and who are seeking an exciting career opportunity in the offshore Caribbean.On joining, you will collaborate with cross-border teams that handle matters involving financial products and services disputes; civil and commercial litigation; judgment enforcement and asset recovery; class actions; criminal defence and regulatory enforcement and internal investigations. You will be expected to draft pleadings and applications for interim measures, including applications for injunctive relief and freezing orders, at short notice; prepare legal analysis and client updates; represent clients in Court and prepare and deal with case-related correspondence.To be considered applicants will need to match the following criteria:
At least 2 years PQE upwards (Associate/Senior Associate/Counsel)
Admitted in British Virgin Islands or eligible for Admission in British Virgin Islands.
Extensive multi-jurisdictional experience in the firm's practice areas gained at a leading onshore/offshore firm or highly rated commercial chambers.
Specific and demonstrable experience in disputes involving complex financial products and investment funds, international judgment enforcement, fraud and asset tracing and contentious insolvency matters.
Excellent interpersonal skills and significant client-facing experience.
Robust writing, drafting and editing skills.
Superb academics.
